Media Award is presented to an individual that demonstrates unwavering passion for creating, writing, producing or delivering media from the Latino perspective that connects and engages viewers with our community.
BLTV proudly acknowledged Yadires Nova-Salcedo for her significant contributions to the community media. Yadires is the host and producer of WBZ-TV’s “Centro,” a special news segment that examines issues of importance to the Latino community. She and her husband Angel also run their own Spanish news and entertainment show "Encuentro Latino."
