Boston, MA - Boston Latino TV (BLTV) is pleased to announce the performing artists of the 5th Annual Access Awards taking place on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Royale Nightclub in Boston.
The Access Awards is the premium and most anticipated awards celebration of its kind in New England. The event recognizes leadership and success while providing a unique networking opportunity for the most influential individuals of the New England's multicultural community. The entertainment lineup includes performances by the following talented artists:
Frankie Negron
Frankie Negron is an internationally known salsa star with a strong fan base in the New York area, Miami, Latin America and Europe. His successful musical career is evidenced by two Gold Album awards, for "Con Amor Se Gana" (“With Love You Win”) and "No Me Compares" ("Don't Compare Me"), and nine Billboard Top 40 Hot Latin Tracks to date. Frankie has also earned Grammy Award nominations and two Premios Lo Nuestro Awards for Song of the Year. In an All Music Guide review, Frankie is referred to as "the genre's next definitive voice."
Amara “La Negra”
Amara is a young electrifying singer with a style of her own that makes her an amazing entertainer in the eyes of those who have witnessed her performances. Amara has performed with artists such as: Gloria Estefan in the In the American Airlines Arena, Celia Cruz, Oscar de Leon, Johnny Ventura, Los Hermanos Rosario, Tito Puente, Tito Nieves, and Milly Quezada, among others. In 2009 Amara won 3rd place out of 12 contestants in the very popular TV contest "Diva Latina" featured in Univision's Sabado Gigante. Amara is currently the face of Giannini's Eye Wear.
SambaViva
SambaViva is a Brazilian samba ensemble dedicated to authentically promoting Brazilian culture through dance and music. Samba is the heartbeat of the group, but SambaViva dazzles and delights with an ever-widening Brazilian musical and dance repertoire.
Over 800 representatives of the most important Latino media outlets, professionals, business owners, and elected officials will walk the red carpet and enjoy a night of celebration and fun.
The awards will also feature a red carpet photo arrival by Francisco Chacon and LuzPortfolio, and music by DJ Juan Madrid.
